Imagine … if every nation agreed to, for one month in the year … even the shortest month of the year … set aside half of their budget for armament and instead used it to overcome world poverty … i wonder what impact this would have? i wonder, if we actually did this, if it might not inspire us to work towards a more peaceful and equatable world for everyone to live in and enjoy … and maybe, we might even find that we don’t really need to be spending so much on armament anyway … because, in reality, everyone wants peace.
